I found the following for m57:

2130 paragraphs changed in total
961 paragraphs only changed due to introduction of <item>,
change from <emph> -> <item> or introduction of insignificant
     space chars.

We will try to roll back those 961 changes for the next
helpcontent2 CWS back to m54 state.

All other changes are significant content changes
that won't be rolled back.

Replacing "{ENTER ALTERNATIVE...}" by "icon" is actually
fixing an older bug and will not be rolled back. This
applies to 82 paragraphs.

Same for changing icon size attributes. You can safely ignore
changes of the height/width attributes for images. Those will be
removed from the source and the localized strings during
a content cleanup at a later date which will be coordinated
with L10N groups and done via script on sdf.

Sorry again for the inconvenience. The next milestone
aith the helpcontent CWS integrated will contain the
abovementioned adjustments. I suggest not to put
m57 content to Pootle (if that is possible).

Thanks
Frank

Actually, the AD3 happened before (with some previous milestone), but
with m57 these "{ENTER ALTERNATIVE...}" English string parts might
have gotten replaced by "Icon" again. However, also icon sizes changed
in several spots.

2009/9/7 Frank Peters <f...@sun.com>:
As reported by Martin, Ain and others helpcontent2 introduced
numerous changes partly due to a bug in the creation tools and
partly due to communication issues. As far as I understood,
these changes affect the following:

1. Replacement of <emph> by <item type="menuitem"> elements
2. Occurrence of extra, multiple spaces, sometimes trailing
3. Icon alt text says "{ENTER ALTERNATIVE...}" instead of "icon"

We apologize for the inconvenience this is causing and would
like to learn from you how to resolve this issue.

We need to know if we should roll back the changes listed
above that were introduced with m57 (this does not apply
to the relevant content changes, just the changes
listed above).

*It's important that we get feedback by tomorrow, or else
our deadline fort the last help cws runs out*

After this release, we'll start a discussion on how
to efficiently clean up the source code without
l10n impact (e.g. getting rid of the image size attributes).

Thanks
Frank
