Since 1.5.2 releases, the most important changes are:
- FreeBSD support
- xen dom0 support
- xenvirt PMD (for domU)
- ivshmem integration
- vhost backend application
- netmap compat bridge
- vmxnet3-uio PMD (different than vmxnet3 extension)
- many fixes in existing PMDs (igb, ixgbe, pcap, virtio-uio)
This r1 drop is a maintenance release on top of 1.6.0r0.
