Hi buddies I was thinking of Cassandra storage support in drill (more after @Ananth's mail). I have been looking into hbase and mongo storage code so far and I am scribbling some code around cassandra.
I have not worked on storage yet so would definitely need few tips from the experienced contributors, a lot from new contributors kamesh and anil who just worked on mongo storage. The plan is to use datastax's cassandra java driver for getting all data from cluster. Not yet cracked the GroupScan and affinity. Are there any challenges - if we have started on cassandra already? I am trying to put an initial patch (imperfect patch) in few days expecting lots of review comments :) Regards, Yash
