As it turns out, Arina is building something very similar for the CTTAS
feature. See the PR: https://github.com/apache/drill/pull/666
Can the two of your coordinate so that the same ID can be used for both
purposes? Can the function described here expose the ID that CTTAS has created?
Is the GUID format for CTTAS adequate for the need here?
