Hi guys We often use the hangouts to discuss about issues or some integral framework related feature to improve Drill. However, we've probably never really had one regarding user experience specifically.
However, Charles Givre has been working tediously at finding existing tools that bring the power of Drill closer to data scientists. He has lately been working on another ASF project -- Apache Superset, that brings BI tool capabilities to Drill. He has managed to get Superset to work with Drill and is working on a blog post, and while I was asked to try it out and take a feedback, I think there is a greater value in showcasing it to the greater Drill developer community. This way, if Charles needs support or suggestions in overcoming any obstacles, I think the community will be more motivated in helping him out. I know we don't have a hangout this week, and Charles is not available next week. I am proposing we do a special hangout this Thursday 14 February (10AM Pacific Time). If everyone is willing, I'll schedule one this week, rather than wait a month until the hangout following the next hangout. Please give me a +1 if you will be willing to attend. Thanks Kunal
