Hi all, This is Shaurya (contributor of PR #15872 and PR #15962).
I wanted to sincerely thank everyone for the reviews and guidance on my previous contributions — the discussions, especially around configuration and security considerations, were very helpful for me and gave me good insight into Apache project workflows. I’m currently preparing for Google Summer of Code 2026 and plan to continue contributing within the Apache ecosystem. Since Dubbo is not part of this year’s GSoC ideas list, I wanted to ask for general guidance on how best to prepare for GSoC as an Apache contributor, or if there are Apache projects you would recommend for someone with a Java background and early Apache experience.
