I just now realized that the direction I had taken was based on our earlier
understanding that we will replace the existing import with the new lifecycle
avatar. Since the import has been released in 0.9 it will be a backward
incompatible change. We can provide a migration script which will help the
users migrate from old datasource and feeds to new datasource and feeds
definitions.
