As of now falcon-regression requires write access to / in hdfs to run. We want to remove this requirement and make sure that all tests use a test specific subdirectory for all its operations. I have created a jira for this: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FALCON-585
This is going to be a major change. I propose that we use a feature branch for this and request the community to vote on this over next 24hrs. Thanks, Raghav.
