Hi Richard,
I looked there, this is all the information on the status that I found

// This is a two lines page
http://felix.apache.org/site/status.html

// This is a TCK result that is one year old
http://felix.apache.org/site/felix-osgi-tck-results.html

I downloaded Felix and performed some test, checked out the code from
trunk, compile it and did some of the same test as with release 1.0.1.
I also try to create an Eclipse project with trunk, and even when most
parts compile there are things in the trunk that are too experimental
or do not compile. Maybe it is my limitation, but trying to get Felix
into a reasonable, easy to work with Eclipse project is not as strait
forward as I was expecting. Checked Felix's Jira project and found
some issues that are over a year old, with a proposed patch, and still
there to be review, accepted or commented. Maybe it is another of my
limitations not to accept that the learning curve to understand the
Felix project is too steep...

What I was looking for is the status of the development, this is
- What is implemented/not implemented in the core? If Felix aiming at
OSGi R3, R4, R4.1?
- What services of the compendium are working as expected? What is
needed to get these services from 0.x status to stable?

After saying that, it would be dishonest not to mention that some
other parts of the documentation as _very_ good, specially parts that
aim at end users. Anyhow the documentation that aim at people who
think OSGi is the way to go and are willing to help build Felix, needs
some love. I am willing to help on any of these issues, I just want to
be sure that that effort will not be in vain.

Regards,
  Lucas
