I think that this is currently unclear - afaik a few projects do this, others don't. As the BSD is compatible with our license, I think this is not a problem; it's not nice, but I don't consider this a blocker.

I guess we'll have a new release in some weeks anyway and I'll add the license for the next release. But we can go ahead without it this time.
