Richard S. Hall commented on FELIX-310:
---------------------------------------

Stefano, if using pax runner helps us get closer to having a testing framework,
then I am all for it. Last I talked with Niclas, there was some movement on a
testing framework on their side. I also know that there is movement from
Luminis and my former lab in these areas, but so far no one is taking the lead
on getting some sort of testing framework up and running. Feel free to start
pushing on this issue. :-)

> If you've ever used the 'mvn jetty:run' plugin, you'll know how damn useful
> it is to boot up a web app quickly via the maven plugin for jetty.
> It would be great if you could run...
> {code}
> mvn felix:run
> {code}
> which would create the bundle in the current project (using the bundle
> plugin), then boot up an embedded Felix container and deploy the bundle
> inside the container to check things work fine. You could maybe also add
> dependencies of other bundles to be deployed with it for system tests?
