Ok, I will try to communicate a little bit more accurate.
I have written a GUI manager application that does exactly the same thing as
the Web Console: generate the configuration dialogs from the metatype
information; therefore I am aware how it works and I agree with you about how
it works.
However, I don't agree with you that the web console can configure
ManagedServiceFactory instances; it simply doesn't work and the problems can be
isolated in the code.
On this ground, I would suggest to close this improvement request as invalid
(as the functionality should actually be there already) and I will file
explicit bug reports for the problems I have isolated and fixed in the code to
make it work.
