Great idea. I agree that we should release it as is. Of course there are upcoming, advanced enterprise features such as WAR support, but those specs have not even been released yet and require quite some effort.
There is one small bug I discovered this weekend while running some integration tests on an internal project here (using http trunk) so I'll fix that this weekend. I'm fine with calling the first release 1.0.0 btw.
