XML is highly compressible, so clients should always add an HTTP header "Accept-Encoding: gzip" to their requests. However in this case it seems that the server (restlet) does not send compressed content (I just tried with wget), which is really, really wasteful. Alin, do you think this would be possible? It would shrink the 25MB index to ~1MB.. Holger
