Hello Felix,
If I may participate to this vote, I just would like to notice that
I tested this release candidate, and everything seems fine,
except one minor issue that I have reported in FELIX-1841
<http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FELIX-1841>
So, may be you could take a look at it before releasing ?
Once a release vote has started, there is no more "before releasing",
since the vote is officially approving the release. At this point,
the only option is to cancel this vote. The vote can be canceled at
the discretion of the caller, but it is not necessary to cancel a
vote just for bugs.
Is this a bug you feel warrants the 1.2.0 release to be canceled and
a 1.2.x release to be created instead?
Hello Richard,
No, the intend of this mail was just to inform Felix about this new
issue, and I don't need a fix in the next release (it will be ok if
there is a fix in the trunk, after the release).
Sorry for the annoyance.
No annoyance at all...it is better to have people speak up than remain
silent. I was just explaining the process. :-)
