Hi all, These days, i was thinking about create a Bndtools based OSGi bundles maker project, it will help us to split complex Java project into OSGi bundles (modules), i have submited my project proposal here[1]. I have finished its demo on line here [2] and finished core analyse algorithm design job here[3].
Meanwhile, it is a brand new project, i want to hold it as a Google Summer of Code (GSoC)4] project, and Peter would like to mentor me( In fact, he has given me many good advises already), GSoC will select some *perfect* to support only, so if you guys are interested in this tool, may be you can give our project some support, apply to be a mentor member for Apache in GSoC melange system[4], and give my project some feedback or just leave some comments behind my project proposal [5], it will help us much :-) And it seems that there is a committer vote and score process for all the project proposals, all the support from you guys can help this tool to win. All Apache committer can register in GSoC system, so if you are interested, please give us some support, thank you very much :-) This is the GSoC mentor register steps: 1. open url [4], register as a mentor, you should supply a email address to register, and then you will get a *link_id*. 2. add your register email (in google melange system) address and the *link_id* in the file [6] https://svn.apache.org/repos/private/committers/GsocLinkId.txt, only Apache committer guys edit this file, you should supply your Apache account and password to export this file, edit it and then submit it. 3. if you do not use your Apache account (such as ***@apache.org) to register in Google melange system, you should also add your apache email the the email you used to register in Google melange system into the file [7] https://svn.apache.org/repos/private/committers/MailAlias.txt, this file also need you supply Apache account and password to edit it. 4. apply to be a mentor for Apache in GSoC melange system[4], wait for Apache admins to approve your apply(i think they will approve your application very soon). Once you are approved, you can find my proposal, leave some comments, particate in the final vote process or view the other interesting project proposal or try to mentor some project.
