I've been wondering if DS 1.2 from cmpn 4.3 actually works on earlier java vms.
Using javap it looks like at least the DS classes are compiled for java 1.4.
Is this useful for anyone on a restricted platform?
At this point I've coded a little bit of locking code in java 5 but haven't
modified old code to java 5. I can still backport the new code to 1.4 syntax
if it would do anyone any good.
