Dominique Pfister commented on FELIX-4137:
------------------------------------------

bq. FYI, Pax Web project already provides WAB support, with a lot of advanced
features:

Thanks, I tried that. Unfortunately, Pax Web does not recognize the
ExtHttpService interface, and so all my bundle filters that depend on this
service, stopped working correctly.

bq. What's the value of WAB support directly in Felix as Pax Web is already
there ?

The patch adds this support to Felix Http Jetty, where Jetty is already
embedded. AFAICS, one could use Pax Web or Felix Http Jetty, bot not both, so
adding this support makes sense to me.

> Support WAB deployment: if a bundle has a header "Web-ContextPath" or
> "Webapp-Context", deploy it inside the jetty servlet container under that
> servlet context.
