FELIX-4170 introduced a regression: before the change properties, references 
and services from all super classes where used (if inheritance of such 
information was enabled) regardless whether the class had a component 
annotation or not. FELIX-4170 restricted this to classes having the annotation.
We should support the old behaviour for compatibility
