David Bosschaert commented on FELIX-4368: ----------------------------------------- > Wouldn't it make sense to set up a separate repository sub-project instead ? No, I don't think so. The current OBR has semantically a lot in common with the OSGi Repository API. The APIs are just different. So I think it makes more sense to add the spec-compliant APIs to the existing OBR, which effectively gives it two ways of interacting with it: the OBR-proprietary way and the OSGi spec-compliant way. But regardless of how you access it, the content is only stored once. > Support OSGi Repository 1.0 Specification > ----------------------------------------- > > Key: FELIX-4368 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FELIX-4368 > Project: Felix > Issue Type: Bug > Components: Bundle Repository (OBR) > Affects Versions: bundlerepository-1.6.6 > Reporter: David Bosschaert > Assignee: David Bosschaert > > While logically similar, the Felix OBR does not yet support the OSGi > Repository Specification, chapter 132 in the Enterprise R5 spec > (http://www.osgi.org/Download/Release5) > This is a holder issue for this functionality. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.2#6252)
