- FELIX-6807 Java 25 LTS support - FELIX-6861 URLHandlersStreamHandlerProxy.openConnection(URL) wraps handler IOException in IllegalStateException This release covers several bundles (more info in https://github.com/apache/felix-dev/pull/433#issue-3228988068): - org.apache.felix.framework 8.0.0 - org.apache.felix.configadmin 1.10.0 - org.apache.felix.scr 2.3.0 - org.apache.felix.webconsole 5.1.0 - org.apache.felix.gogo.runtime 1.2.0 - gogo-parent 7 Note that framework 8.0.0 is a breaking release: the OSGi security layer has been removed, because Java 24 permanently disabled the SecurityManager (JEP 486). The minimum Java version is now 11, and Require-Capability osgi.ee moves from JavaSE 1.8 to JavaSE 11. The 7.x line remains available for users who need the security layer or Java 8.
