While testing [PR #236|https://github.com/apache/felix-dev/pull/236]
(_AutoProcessor - Load and start bundles in parallel_), an intermittent startup
failure was reported in Dependency Manager:

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class
org.apache.felix.dm.impl.index.ServiceRegistryCacheManager
Caused by: java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError: Exception
java.lang.NullPointerException
at
org.apache.felix.dm.impl.index.ServiceRegistryCacheManager.init(ServiceRegistryCacheManager.java:140)
at
org.apache.felix.dm.impl.index.ServiceRegistryCacheManager.<clinit>(ServiceRegistryCacheManager.java:63)
at
org.apache.felix.dm.DependencyManager.createContext(DependencyManager.java:314)

The same issue was also observed when using DM in [concurrent
mode|https://felix.apache.org/documentation/subprojects/apache-felix-dependency-manager/reference/thread-model.html].
I was able to reproduce it (rarely). This issue is opened to track the
investigation of the problem in Dependency Manager and, if needed, provide a
fix.
