The loan accounts have been created and stored with the terms and conditions defined in the product at the moment of the disbursement, so then you have to alter the DB, make a DB backup before doing any change and test it in a non production environment before.
If this change impacts the contracts or agreements with the end customers, make sure to notify them using the appropriate channels.
