Hi Fineract Community, My name is Yvana Kengne, and I am a Post-Graduate Computer Engineering student. I am writing to introduce myself as I prepare for GSoC 2026. I have already started contributing to Fineract to learn the codebase and the Apache process. So far, I have successfully merged several PRs, including FINERACT-2086 and FINERACT-2055, and I currently have an active PR under review (#5342).
I am interested in the *FINERACT-2439*. My main skills are in Java, SQL, and Spring Boot. I am currently building a Proof of Concept (POC) to explore how this new component can connect to Fineract and provide simpler, secure responses for consumer applications. My goal is to continue contributing to the project’s stability while working toward the GSoC application period. I am also interested in internship opportunities where I can apply my backend engineering skills.
