Hi Fineract Devs, I am Avtansh Tripathi, a 3rd year student at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad. I've been going through the GSoC 2026 ideas list and I want to work on the project to migrate integration tests from RestAssured to fineract-client-feign.
I have a strong background in Java and competitive programming with over 500 problems solved on Codeforces and LeetCode. I've built full-stack projects like StudyGuru and ShopVerse where I worked on RESTful APIs and improved data retrieval efficiency by 35%. I've also handled secure authentication and payment integrations, so I'm familiar with how structured API communication works. I have already started exploring the Fineract codebase to understand the current RestAssured implementation and how the Feign client is structured. Looking forward to some guidance on how to start contributing and align my proposal with the project goals.
