*Hi Fineract Community,* I am writing to express my strong interest in the GSoC 2026 project: *"Create a new backend for front end component POC (FINERACT-2439)"*. I have already introduced myself on the Jira ticket and am now seeking alignment with the community’s vision for this component.
I have already established a technical foundation within Fineract by successfully resolving *FINERACT-2520 (PR #5592)*, where I achieved a *100% Green Build with 44/44 passing checks* on the Progressive Loan module. My local development environment is fully configured for Java 21/Gradle, and I am well-versed in the project's code-quality and GPG-signing standards. For this POC, my goal is to design a standalone *Spring Boot 3.x microservice* that acts as a secure bridge to the Fineract core. I am particularly focused on the *'Aggregator' pattern*, building composite endpoints like /self/dashboard to provide lightweight, high-performance responses for mobile and consumer-facing applications . My proposal will emphasize: - *Secure Authentication*: Designing a JWT-based identity model specifically for consumer users, separate from administrative staff . - *API Aggregation*: Orchestrating multiple backend calls into a single response to optimize performance for low-bandwidth environments . - *Technical Readiness*: Leveraging my existing experience with Fineract's build system to ensure a production-ready implementation. I am currently finalizing my detailed proposal and would appreciate any feedback or specific requirements the mentors would like to see addressed.
