Hi James,
Thank you so much for your honest feedback and for taking the time to review my
situation.
I completely understand your point about the PR size. I will follow your advice
and start over with smaller, more manageable chunks of contributions. I'll
begin by submitting a PR for a single module to ensure the CI/CD tests pass and
to make the review process easier for the mentors.
It’s a pity about the GSoC infra, but I am still committed to contributing to
Fineract regardless.
Best regards,
Anhelina

Thank you for the message, I'm not sure if you've heard back from anyone else.

Unfortunately, neither the PMC, nor the Mentors, nor the GSOC admin at ASF can
do anything with regard to the submissions on the GSOC infra, as that is owned
and managed by GSOC directly (google).

Your PR was indeed massive. I don't believe that it has received a review.
Our project definitely prefers people joining slowly, spending time
understanding the code, and then making small chunks of contributions. If you
would like your contributions to be recognized, I would start over with the
smallest useful unit, propose that and see if the pattern can be repeated.
Many of the automated tests on your 81 commit PR are showing red, so that won't
get a review until you pass the tests.

If there is someone who can review the proposed Commits - feel free to jump in
here.

Hello Fineract Community,
I am writing to report a critical technical error regarding my GSoC 2026
application. Due to a misunderstanding of the dashboard interface, I
accidentally withdrew my application for the project "Add Swagger tags to all
APIs".
I want to clarify that I am fully committed to this project. To demonstrate my
dedication and capability, I have been working intensely over the last 48 hours
and have already submitted a massive Pull Request for FINERACT-1222 covering 81
commits and documenting dozens of resources across portfolio, infrastructure,
and organisation modules.
You can see my recent activity and the scale of my contribution here:
https://github.com/elicsmit/fineract/pull/1
I have already reached out to the GSoC support team to undo the withdrawal, but
I wanted to inform the Fineract mentors directly. I am not stopping my work and
will continue to complete the API documentation regardless of this technical
glitch, as I am deeply interested in contributing to the Apache Fineract
ecosystem.
Could you please advise if there is anything the PMC or mentors can do on the
GSoC portal to help reinstate my application?
Thank you for your time and for the opportunity to contribute.
Best regards,
Anhelina Zmitrevich
