Logging can be disabled if wanted and then has no effort on speed.
However I doubt if libs really need to log things. Personally I would
appreciate something with as less deps as possible, small, beautiful
etc.

maybe asf commons stuff would be helpful ... but especially in java
ee7 env its better to be independent it guess
another thing is thought about was logging (but thats make only sense
for "debugging" and maybe slow down the lib ...)
