Hi Alex,

>> ? I noticed some of the UI was overlaying the DataGrid

Samsung "Note" was a custom device that I added to the Flash Builder device
list, it's got a smaller screen, switching to Samsung galaxy caused the UI
overlay.

Solution :
-----------
After seeing your comment above I realized that it may be a PPI issue, I
changed the PPI to match the Galaxy "Tab" PPI and now the data grid works 100%.

So the issue is a PPI issue that is impacting the datagrid. In SDK 4.9.1 the
original PPI setting works 100%.

Regards,

Sugan

Subject: [jira] [Commented] (FLEX-33645) Spark Datagrid : Record Select and
Column Sort issue

Alex Harui commented on FLEX-33645:
-----------------------------------

I setup the app and choose to run on the AIR simulator as a Samsung Galaxy Tab.
I was able to select every column and every row in the datagrid.

Is there still some difference in our setups? I noticed some of the UI was
overlaying the DataGrid. Can you attach a screenshot of what you see when it
isn't working?

> I have a Flex Mobile app with a Spark Datagrid. When the data-grid is
> populated, the app :
> 1) Allows you to 'only' select +/- half of the records on the data-grid, the
> rest are not select-able.
> 2) If you click on the column headers, only the first 2 columns when selected
> performs a sort.
> I reverted to SDK 4.9.1 with Air 3.4 and I can select 'all' recordsin the
> data-grid + click on any header and the grid will sort.
