In the Maven Buildi am using a special plugin for ensuring API compatibility with 1.6 so this should be taken care of in the future.

I found the place in Jenkins where it says it is running Java 7. We might need to upgrade to Java 8 soon, although we still need compatibility back to Java 1.6 so the jars work in Flash Builder. -Alex
