On Travis we currently use maven 3.2.5, but since it isn't installed and Travis
doesn't support setting an explicit maven version we currently set it up
manually every time.
This also includes downloading it, resulting in unnecessary load on the maven
servers and decreased build stability since the servers aren't always reachable.
