You’re absolutely encouraged to open a JIRA issue for this so we can track and discuss it properly. For the broader Variant type integration, you can refer to the umbrella JIRA ticket [1]. If you’d like to work on any of these items, please feel free to create dedicated JIRA tickets or just comment that you’d like to contribute. I’ll be happy to assign the ticket to you.
