Yes that is a problem but I am surprised were able to hit it since we keep two 
extra logs per directory and each one of those logs should be 1.5GB of data.

I suppose we could make queue.removeHead() no decrement the counter and then on 
commit pass in the takeList to have the fileIds decremented.  Seems ugly 
though. Maybe the reference counting should be moved up the Log class.
