Damien Claveau commented on FLUME-2251:
---------------------------------------
Apache Kafka stable release is now 0.8.1.
https://archive.apache.org/dist/kafka/0.8.1/RELEASE_NOTES.html
Apache Camel has released the Camel 2.13.0,
which includes now a Kafka component (Producer & Consumer) for the Kafka 0.8.1
stable release.
https://github.com/apache/camel/blob/master/parent/pom.xml#L258
I don't think we should get stuck in Flume with the now quite old 0.7.2 version
of Kafka.
Any thoughts ?
