Hi,

I am not sure these scripts are still usefull since the http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FOR-388 (Use plugins in-place if src available) makes forrest auto local-deploy every needed plugins after the user has made a build clean, build. Now the user just have to clean, build, and regenerate his site - forrest [site|run]

More, every needed plugins will be local-deployed instead of just the org.apache.forrest.plugin.internal.dispatcher and the org.apache.forrest.themes.core !

Maybe we should just document this and delete this scripts ?

   WDYT ?

Another thing is do we still need the http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FOR-835 (Create a new ant task to replace builddispatcher script files )
?
The new task will just make a clean and build. I don't know if it's very interesting ?

   Do I close it ?

I think we should concentrate on the http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FOR-343 (Auto Upgrading Plugins) and every thing will be Ok (without needing build clean ! ),

--------------------------------

Dispatcher Build, Clean and Deploy Batch File for Windows
---------------------------------------------------------

         Key: FOR-831
         URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FOR-831
     Project: Forrest
        Type: Improvement
  Components: Dispatcher (aka views)
    Versions: 0.8-dev
    Reporter: Gavin
    Assignee: Forrest Developers
    Priority: Trivial
     Fix For: 0.8-dev
 Attachments: builddispatcher.bat, builddispatcher.bat, builddispatcher.bat

This simple batch file, mentioned I would do this at the recent Forrest Friday,
basically just does all the building, cleaning and deploying of plugins
neccessary for using the Dispatcher. A time saver, if nothing else.
Put it in the %FORREST_HOME%/etc/ directory.
