Perhaps you are getting confused about how the notification is configured. http://forrest.apache.org/tools/forrestbot.html#notify For example here is a snippet from the forrestbot descriptor for one of our zones demos: ... <property name="notify.on.failure" value="true"/> <property name="notify.on.success" value="false"/> ... The Issue Description for -767 is a bit vague. If it was only about deploy via FTP, then looking at your code desciption above, it seems to need <target name="deploy.ftp" unless="build.failed" ...
