Could you please explain the scenario in details. How the file opening is triggered ( klick to a link in MSIE, drag and drop to MSIE, OOo or MS system FileOpen dialog and etc. )? Which protocol is used in the link/URL ( http:, file: and etc. or just a system path to a file in the file system )?
