Hello Freemarker Team, Freemarker's logo was requested for the simple-icons project <https://github.com/simple-icons/simple-icons> on GitHub. Please find issue link here: https://github.com/simple-icons/simple-icons/pull/9471
I initially used the logo available here <https://www.apache.org/logos/?#freemarker> to add the icon. However on second thoughts, I feel that the logo used by the favicon at https://freemarker.apache.org would suit much better in a badge. Do you happen to have the SVG version of that favicon? Or if you prefer the full logo mark be used, I will update the PR to include full wordmark. The project is primarily used by people wanting to display brand icons in their GitHub profiles, social networks or Readme.md hosted on any platform. Sample usage of badges in Readme: https://github.com/badges/shields/blob/master/README.md The simple-icons project <https://github.com/simple-icons/simple-icons> itself is licensed under CC0-1.0 license <https://github.com/simple-icons/simple-icons/blob/develop/LICENSE.md> but has the facility to add a custom license agreement URL and brand guidelines link for each icon if needed. This document and links are available to users of the package and clearly displayed on the website <https://simpleicons.org/>. Since Freemarker is licensed as Apache-2.0, the same has been added to the JSON data. I have created a pull request to add the logomark derived from the logo available here <https://www.apache.org/logos/?#freemarker>. Please find it here: https://github.com/simple-icons/simple-icons/pull/9471 I use freemarker a lot and wanted to use the icon in a badge in some projects, hence I wanted it added to simple-icons. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any doubts. Thankfully *Pratyush Mangalakattu*
