+1 for the change. Please keep the structure of the urls the same as before as we have linked to the Freemarker docs from various of our pages. This would make migration of deeplinks easier. http://freemarker.org/docs/ref_builtins_string.html should then be http://freemarker.apache.org/docs/ref_builtins_string.html
Also it would be helpful to keep freemarker.org around for a while with a redirect.
