It generally seems to, but not in this case immediately after a 
sync-repos. I'm now of the optinion that the majority of my problems 
seems to be sync-repos related.

Please see my testcase_pci-script I mailed earlier, it causes even a fully 
patched 1.0.15 to touch things it shouldn't.

Together with

this seems to have caused the extremely long commit times.

I'm currently trying to produce one... It does not happen always, but 
often, and I currently cannot predict when and how it happens, I just try 
if I find a way to trigger it.

If it doesn't happen, fsvs seems to be as quick as it used to be in 
previous versions.
