A tip: use something like
fsvs -d ..... | tail -1000 > /tmp/logfile
The debug messages go to STDOUT - so that they're easy to capture.
That might be easier :-)
From a quick glance it seems that https:// gives no close(), ie.
svn_stream_close() doesn't get called.
