I think it simpler to keep the jars on the file system because it is a visual 
aid to inspect the cluster externally without having to log into gfsh and 
gfsh>deploy jar. Seeing the deployed jars helps when validating deployments and 
things are not right, for instance, when one member has the jar but another 
does not, etc. Placing them internally is arguably not simpler.
