Hi All- Recently, I have made significant progress on new developments in *Spring Data GemFire* as well as *Spring Data Geode's* new Java annotation-based configuration meta-data approach. My promise is this, this will greatly simplify the user's getting started experience when developing *Spring* Java applications using *Apache Geode*.

I would be very excited and happy to share these latest developments and new features with the *Spring* and *Apache Geode* communities after the conference, and after *Apache Geode* 1.0.0-incubating.M3 is released, which is currently under vote. Expect a *Spring Data Geode* 1.0.0.APACHE-GEODE-INCUTABING-M3 supporting this new, upcoming *Apache Geode* release along with the new developments that I will present in a Geode Clubhouse meeting to follow shortly after the *Apache Geode* M3 release.
