Hi,

I am not sure if this is the right list to ask, but with my GeoExt
application I am having issues with IE and PDFs.

When I am using the GeoExt printProvider and generate a PDF on the
server all browsers open the PDF fine on all sorts of different OS and
browsers - IE on XP opens a separate window, but the page remains blank
 (PDF not displayed).

The funny thing is, that it opens the PDF, if the GeoExt client is run
off the internet, but if fails in our intranet. Both servers are
identically set up, the mime type is correct (application/pdf) and
 ActiveX is enabled in IE.

Do you have any ideas why IE is behaving differently within the
Intranet (fails), but works fine on the Internet?

We use Acrobat, but I also tested with Foxit - same behavior. Works
fine on the Internet, but fails on the Intranet.

If you can't help - do you know of a competent PDF/Acrobat related
mailing list that may be able to help?

 Thanks,
 Andreas
