Hey, I have added a patch to MapFish to read the OpenLayers.XYZ layer type and have been meaning to put in a patch for the PrintProvider which addresses two points:
Allow the Print Provider to allow remote service end points, i.e. not assume printing module (mapfish/geoserver) is on the same server as the one running the web app. And to add the XYZ encoder, which I only just added today. To make this work I also had to change the encodeLayer function as it run a 'break' before it ever got to the 'XYZ' layer - because it found the layer was a HTTPRequest layer also and so broke out before checking if it was an XYZ layer. This I concede is a little less performant. Can I get a trac login so I can add this patch?
