Hi Ahmad,
currently GeoExt works on top of Ext 3.x but the core developers are in
the planning phase of making GeoExt work with Ext 4.
There is currently no timetable, that I know of, as to when the new
release is expected... but I am sure this list will be notified when
things get hot.
