Thanks for your report Andreas. I have already heard about the
Sourcepole effort, but it seems this is really not related to GeoExt.

Regarding your sponsoring: The best way forward would be to contact
one of Camptocamp, terrestris, Mapgears or OpenGeo and make a
sponsoring commitment. If you prefer, you can also tell me which of
these four organisations you want to handle your funding, and I'll
make sure they reach out to you.
