I am currently working on porting the GeoExt stuff over to support ExtJS
4.2.1 or ExtJS 5.0.0.
I still think this is doable, but I haven't finished the work as of today.
I'll update the public extjs5 branch
(https://github.com/geoext/geoext2/tree/extjs5) with my latest code
either today or tomorrow.
I will then send a more detailed email outlining the current state of
work and remaining TODOs.
