--------------------------------------------------------------------- View the issue: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GERONIMO-296 Here is an overview of the issue: --------------------------------------------------------------------- Key: GERONIMO-296 Summary: waitForStarted goal on Windows Type: Bug Status: Unassigned Priority: Major Project: Apache Geronimo Components: deployment Assignee: Reporter: John Sisson Created: Mon, 13 Sep 2004 6:02 PM Updated: Mon, 13 Sep 2004 6:02 PM Environment: Windows 2000 Description: On the following Geronimo Running Wiki page (http://wiki.apache.org/geronimo/Running) It says "Note for Windows Users: If you are using a maven repository under c:\Documents and Settings\.maven the waitForStarted goal will fail. Please use a directory name without spaces instead." Assuming that this is still a problem??.. Considering many developers use Windows, some are going to install Maven using the exe installer. The Maven install doco http://maven.apache.org/start/install.html) does not mention anything about not using the default install location (e.g. the Documents and Settings directory), it sounds like this problem should be eventually fixed. If it can't be fixed, some comments as to why would be nice for future reference. Thanks, John --------------------------------------------------------------------- JIRA INFORMATION: This message is automatically generated by JIRA.
