My biggest concern for M5 is the lack of usability surrounding the
configuration of custom assemblies. There needs to be a way to create
new assemblies that is easy, consistent and repeatable. Without the
ability to showcase what I consider to be some of the most powerful
features in Geronimo, I think we're doing the community and the
project a disservice.

In addition, this same argument can be made for the customization of
existing assemblies (e.g., changing port numbers, directories, etc.).
This is a major usability issue that needs to be addressed.

I quickly glanced through the list of open JIRA issues and I see no
issues surrounding these items. I'd like to create an issue for each
of these, but I want to make sure that none already exist.
